Founded on nine years of answering the call
Blindspot Protection Group was founded by Colby Pickering after nine years with the Lee County Sheriff's Office. He holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Florida Gulf Coast University and more than two dozen certifications across firearms, tactical driving, defensive tactics, emergency medical care, and surveillance.

The person behind the license
Away from work, Colby travels, spends time at the gun range and on the golf course, plays billiards, and gets out on the water whenever Florida allows it, usually with Shiner, his rescue dog, along for the ride.
